Can I Join LED Panels Together to Make a Bigger Screen?
A customer asked us a question we hear a lot: a single LED module is 500 × 1000 mm — can we do bigger, say 1000 × 2000 mm, or do you join two screens together to get there? The short answer is yes, and you are not really buying “two screens” — you are buying one wall built from however many modules it takes.
This is the single most useful thing to understand about LED: it is modular. That is exactly why custom sizes are normal, not special.
You build a size, you don’t pick from fixed screens
An LED screen is assembled from identical cabinets (panels) that lock together edge to edge with no visible gap. A 500 × 1000 mm module is one building block; put four of them in a 2-wide × 2-high grid and you have a seamless 1000 × 2000 mm wall. Add more in any direction and the wall simply gets bigger. There is no real maximum — façade walls are tens of metres across.
- 1 × 1000×500 module → the building block.
- 2 wide × 2 high → 1000 × 2000 mm (your example).
- Any whole-module grid → any width × height you need.
- Seams are mechanically aligned so the image looks like one surface.
What changes as the wall gets bigger
Joining more modules is straightforward, but a few things scale with size, and we plan them with you so there are no surprises on site:
- Weight — more modules means more weight; we confirm the mounting structure can carry it.
- Power — larger walls draw more current and may need more circuits.
- Resolution — total pixels = size ÷ pixel pitch, so a bigger wall at the same pitch is sharper overall.
- Mounting — wall-fixed, hung or on a ground-support frame depending on the size.
A quick resolution check
At a P2.6 pitch, a 1000 × 2000 mm wall is roughly 384 × 768 pixels; at P3.9 it is about 256 × 512. Finer pitch packs in more pixels for close viewing but costs more. Tell us how close people stand and we recommend the pitch — our viewing distance calculator gives a quick first answer.

Is there a maximum size for an LED screen?
Not really — because it is built from modules, a wall can be as large as the structure and budget allow. Façade screens run to tens of metres. We confirm the buildable size nearest your target.
Will the join between panels be visible?
No — cabinets are precision-aligned so the seams disappear and the wall reads as one continuous image. Flatness and seam alignment during install are what make it look built-in.
Can I start small and add panels later?
Yes — keep a note of the exact model and pixel pitch and you can add matching modules later to enlarge the wall. We keep the spec available.
How long is delivery to the UK?
Production is usually one to three weeks; shipping to the UK by sea adds a few weeks plus customs, or days by air for small items. We confirm the exact timeline for your address.
