An LED advertising screen is a high-brightness LED display used to show ads, promotions and dynamic content — on a storefront, a building façade, inside a mall or as a roadside billboard. Because it is built from modular cabinets it can be sized to the location and specified for indoor or outdoor use.
This page covers both the product and the price logic. Indoor advertising screens start from $550/m² (P3.91); outdoor high-brightness from $1,200/m² (P3.91, IP65, 4,500 nits). Send the size and location and EKINTRY quotes it per square metre, factory-direct.
Who custom screens are for
- Shops, malls and brands wanting an eye-catching advertising display.
- Outdoor advertising, façades, billboards and DOOH networks.
- Restaurants, showrooms and lobbies needing in-store promotion screens.
- Integrators and media owners sourcing advertising screens factory-direct.
Indoor vs outdoor advertising screens
Where the screen faces decides the brightness and protection — and most of the cost.
- Indoor advertising LED — ~600–1500 nits, finer pitch, slim cabinet for malls and interiors.
- Outdoor advertising LED — up to ~10,000 nits, IP65 weatherproof, anti-UV for façades and billboards.
- Window-facing storefronts use a dedicated high-brightness build — see the storefront page.
How LED advertising screens are priced
Advertising screens are quoted per square metre. As a practical guide, indoor screens are commonly around US$800–2,500/m² and outdoor screens around US$1,200–4,000+/m², depending mainly on pixel pitch and brightness. There is no single fixed price — the figure below explains why.
- Pixel pitch — a P2.5 screen packs ~160,000 LEDs per m² vs ~10,000 for P10, so finer pitch costs more.
- Indoor vs outdoor — brightness, IP rating and structure raise outdoor cost.
- LED quality (SMD / COB) and the control/content system.
- Size, mounting and installation support.
Choosing the right pitch and brightness
Send the closest viewing distance and we match the pitch (≈1 m per 1 mm) and the brightness to the location, so you do not pay for resolution nobody sees or under-spec a sun-facing wall.
Formats and where they advertise
An LED advertising screen goes by several names — advertising display, LED advertising panel, ad board — but they all describe the same thing: a bright LED screen built to carry advertising. The format follows the placement. Slim indoor panels suit malls and stores; large outdoor boards suit façades and roadsides; digital-out-of-home (DOOH) networks run scheduled content across many sites; and a large advertising video wall anchors a lobby or atrium.
- Indoor advertising panels — malls, stores and showrooms.
- Outdoor advertising boards — façades, roadsides and billboards.
- DOOH networks — scheduled, remotely managed content across many screens.
- Advertising video walls — large-format for lobbies and atriums.
- Branded kiosks and totems — freestanding advertising points.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an LED advertising screen cost?
It is quoted per square metre — roughly US$800–2,500/m² indoor and US$1,200–4,000+/m² outdoor, driven mainly by pixel pitch and brightness. Send your size and location for an estimate and a firm quote.
Why is an outdoor advertising screen more expensive?
Outdoor screens need much higher brightness, IP65 weatherproofing and a stronger structure to handle sun and rain, which raises both the components and the install cost.
What pixel pitch do I need?
It depends on viewing distance — about 1 m per 1 mm of pitch. A roadside billboard can use a coarse pitch; an in-store screen viewed up close needs a finer one.
Can the screen be single or double-sided?
Yes — double-sided builds are common for hanging or freestanding ad screens, showing different content on each face.
How is content updated?
Through a control/content system — content can be scheduled and updated remotely. We advise the right setup for your screen.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — factory-direct worldwide with wooden-case packing, spares, install documents and remote support.
Is an LED advertising screen the same as an advertising display or panel?
Yes — "LED advertising screen", "advertising display", "advertising LED panel" and "ad board" all refer to the same product: a bright LED screen built to show advertising. The right one depends on indoor vs outdoor and the size, not the name.
Can it run a DOOH advertising network?
Yes — for digital-out-of-home, content is scheduled and updated remotely across many screens from one system, so a network of ad screens can be managed and sold centrally.
Can you build a large advertising video wall?
Yes — for lobbies, atriums and big façades we build large-format advertising video walls from modular cabinets at the pixel pitch your viewing distance needs.
